After many years of hard work, we are proud to bring you Troopers: Dawn of Destiny (version 6), a total conversion mod for Unreal Tournament 2004. Though the team has changed over the years, the heart and drive behind it has not.
This drive has had a magnetic effect. It brought back others with renewed visions of what Troopers could and would some day be. We have had testers become devs, and retired devs, several holding down paying jobs in the gaming industry, who have come back to us as testers in their free time. It has been a grand learning experience for all of us involved..... |

Teaser shots and game information.
Though most do not know it, Kinetic Studios has continued development since the release of version 5.0 back in November of 2004. The size of the team has decreased, but the overall quality and experience of the MOD has not. There have been so many changes since version 5.0, that Troopers plays and feels like a new game. The resulting overall experience is a highly polished objective based gameplay packed full of action. Be sure to check out the screenshots section. More will be added.

It has been a long time in coming, but the release of Troopers version 6 is almost here. The team here at Kinetic is very proud of what we've down over the years, and we are very glad to release the final version of Troopers: Dawn of Destiny.

Well it looks like the webpage was hit up by some spammers while we left it sit. Sorry about that. We have now changed the settings of the page so that comments must be approved.
In other news: Work on Troopers: Dawn of Destiny has begun again. After many weeks of no activity, the team has reorganized and are pushing towards a release. That is all. |

Well, it has been awhile since we have updated the page, and that is something we would like to correct. The team has been hard at work trying to improve everybody's favorite mod named Troopers. In the coming days we will have an announcement regarding the status of the mod so please be patient with us. See you in a few days. |

I’m sure many of you have been waiting on a news update from us and I am pleased to say we have some for you today. Over the past few weeks progress has been rolling along and we are pleased with what we have accomplished so far. I would like to take some time and share these most recent changes with the community.
If you check out our new Pic of the Day you will find a render of the new R2 unit, with his data probe arm extending and ready to go. But don’t let that render fool you, R2 still has many more gadgets hidden and waiting in those compartments. "But Yoshi, why does R2 ..... |

As you know, the Troopers team is hard at work changing Troopers: Dawn of Destiny into something the team can be proud of. We feel we’ve been quiet long enough and its time you heard some details about things we’ve already accomplished since our last update.
Fullscreen map:
You can bind a key in input settings to toggle a full screen. In input controls / Hud, set Toggle FullScreen Map to a key.
3D Iron Sights
Version 5.0 had 2d texture iron sights. We now have 3d iron sights instead.
