After that surprise announcement that we have decided to continue work on Troopers: Dawn of Destiny we have decided that we should let everybody know about some of the things we have already begun working on and changing, several in game already.
To start it off I would like to say we have changed our weapons from a texture based iron sight system to a 3d iron sight system and it’s already a vast improvement to the immersion of the game. We have also begun some changes to the weapons code itself but this is still in heavy development so I won't comment on it until we have it finalized.
And next up to bat, joining our collection of combat craft is the Rebel A-Wing fighter. Designed by General Jan Dodonna (the man behind the attack on the first Death Star) and built by near everybody, this fast and maneuverable craft soon became an integral part of the rebel fleets, and now it’s joining the battles in Troopers. TIE pilots, watch your backs.
And to close this first news post I would also like to comment that the Troopers bots have started Flight School. We don't know if they will finish it with flying colors, but they should receive passing marks on several of the vehicles.
Sorry for double Post. I am using the link to download the Troopers v5.0 file, and all it downloads is a Getfile.php 1kb in size. Is this a problem that needs to be fixed or am I missing something?

Just want to say it's about time. This mod is way better than republic commando and it has lots of promise. The texture based first person stuff really turned off a lot of people so this 3d thing is awesome. Can't wait.
