Troopers: Dawn of Destiny will enter Phases 2 and 3 of the Make Something Unreal contest!
Over the past several months, there has been a great deal of confusion regarding the position of Troopers in relation to the now-famed Make Something Unreal contest, hosted by Epic Games. The initial release of Troopers: Dawn of Destiny was specifically timed so that the mod could be entered in Phase One of the competition. Let me tell you, folks, that the Troopers Development Team had a heck of a time voting on your submissions. Tie after tie plagued our voting process; finally, we've been forced to admit defeat. There will be four wallpapers you'll all have to vote on; not three.
The top four we decided on, in alphabetical order by last name, along with their submissions, are:

Troopers: Dawn of Destiny announces the Official Troopers Wallpaper Contest
That's right, folks, Troopers is hosting a desktop wallpaper contest. If you're a graphics artist (or even if you're not -- it's amazing what time and a little effort can do, even if you've never touched Photoshop before), and you want to be put up in the official Troopers Credits and to have your creation released on the website as an official wallpaper to be downloaded by Troopers fans everywhere, then listen up; we have a little something for you.
The Goal: To create the single best Troopers: Dawn of Destiny wallpaper imaginable. Simple, eh?

It would appear that Troopers is "a mod to be experienced."
The premier mod- and mutator-reviewing website for UT2003, ModSquad has kindly reviewed the Demo release of Troopers: Dawn of Destiny. Providing a pure and unbiased opinion, the review is strikingly positive. And best of all, all the flaws that it mentioned will be corrected in the forthcoming code patch (not to mention some new extras as well)!

Battlefield: Galactic Conquest has, after a long period of waiting, finally been released. As much as Troopers rocks, BF:GC rocks just as much, but for a different game and engine. For all you fans that have Battlefield 1942 as well as UT2K3, head on over to the BF:GC website, download the mod, and then tell those developers what a great job they did!
